Ahaz was king, is living a life that demonstrates that there is absolutely no reason to walk away from God, but he did. Even if circumstances were worse, there is no purpose a man should leave home without directions and hold the title as king. Ahaz is the leader, and what is going on in his mind a king to lead people?   3  But he walked in the way of the kings of Israel, yea, and made his son to pass through the fire, according to the abominations of the heathen, whom the Lord cast out from before the children of Israel. To have your child's life given or offered to show piety is ext

Brendaonline.com 1  In the twenty and seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel began Azariah son of Amaziah king of Judah to reign. 2  Sixteen years old was he when he began to reign, and he reigned two and fifty years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Jecholiah of Jerusalem. Azariah became king as a teenager. He was king for 52 years. Azariah reigned longer than any king in Judah thus far. His mother is named, and she is from Jerusalem. Jecholiah is the first woman named among Judah's kings to have a mother born in Jerusalem. 3  And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father Amaziah had done; Azariah did what was right, just as his father did in the sight of God. 4  Save that the high places were not removed: the people sacrificed and burnt incense still on the high places. And his mother's name was Jehoaddan of Jerusalem. Amaziah was 25 years old when he became king. He reigned 29 years in the southern kingdom of Israel. His mom's name was Jehoaddan.   3  And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, yet not like David his father: he did according to all things as Joash his father did. Amaziah did not fully obey God. Jesus said I should live one day at a time. That makes it easier for me to watch my steps.  4  Howbeit the high places were not taken away: as yet the people did sacrifice and burnt incense on the high places. God's words are life's instructions. Kings sometimes made God's word look as if it was optional readin

Jehu is dead.  Jehu pleased God but did not finish all of what God wanted from him.  Jehoahaz, Jehu's son, is king in Northern Israel.  He is the king of Samaria.   2  And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, and followed the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, which made Israel to sin; he departed not therefrom.   Jehoahaz did not follow God's Laws. He followed the path of Jeroboam.  Jeroboam had God's laws, but he did not carry them out.  In our day, people who own a copy of the Word of God, but clueless about what it says.   3  And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel, and he delivered them into the hand of Hazael king of Syria, and into the hand of Benhadad the son of Hazael, all their days.
