PSALM 36

brendaonline.com 36  The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes. When I see wicked people do what they do, I see that they do not reverence God at all.  2  For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful. He lives foolishly thinking he is having a good time until the chaff hits the fan and he hates his own results. 3  The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, and to do good. You can not trust the conversation of the wicked.  He does not seek the Word of God. 4  He deviseth mischief upon his bed; he setteth himself in a way that is not good; he abhorreth not evil. A wicked person thinks about doing wrong all the time.  He makes decisions that are sinful. 5  Thy mercy, O  Lord , is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds. Lord, you are not at all like the wicked.  You are holy up and down. 6  Thy righteousness is like the great mountains;

Psalm 35

Brendaonline.com When I read Psalm 35, I wonder if David was having a moment in time.  He is telling God to do what he would do if he could in his revenge.  I love how God receives the realness of David's heart.  This is how David felt, and because God allowed us to see what he approved of (listening to David), we can relax and talk to Him as he said; talk candidly with me at all the time.  Pour out your heart to me.  God really meant for us to talk to him about our day, problem, cares, and ultimately our lives.  When people endeavor to treat people right, it is hard to comprehend how others can possibly do them wrong.  How can I think about the good I want to do for you and you in return think nothing of me and carry out plans to hurt me?  When we are hurt by the evil of others after meaning good toward them, it is mind-boggling to be mistreated by the same people we want to help.  God allows us to see David and David is describing how God feels when He has to use His wrath to mak

Brendaonline.com David seems to be rejoicing in God's deliverance after an encounter with death.  David pretended he had lost his mind and that caused his enemies to turn from him.  The servants saw David and tried to arrest him. 1 Samuel 21is where you can find this truth.  Now David is telling people what happened in how he escaped from death, by changing his behavior in acting like a mad man.   David was king although he had not yet taken the throne.  God anointed David to be king and Saul did not like the fact that David was going to be the man who would replace him.  David describes to his listeners what took place.  David rejoices because he knew it was God who delivered him from death.  Now David is promoting God's Word to the people around him.  David rejoices and explains that if you want God's protection, you must turn from evil and do good.  Not just turn from evil, we must be found doing good. 34  I will bless the  Lord  at all times: his praise shall continuall

Psalm 33

brendaonline.com  Today is a challenging time in my life and yet I want to praise the Lord and learn more of him. Verse 1-3 starts with one word each, Rejoice, Praise and Sing!  Because God is truth, we should know He will make all things well if we trust Him.  There is no need to wait to see if your problem will turn out in your favor, because he spoke truth before He made us, he knows everything will be made right if we trust Him! God's Word is Right. God is full of Goodness. He controls the waters. When people get to know God you will find out He is awesome! When God speaks, things obey quickly. No counsel can stand against the counsel of God.  God is right! God sees everybody and everything.  Nothing is hid from Him. Don't count the stuff you own, to be enough.  If God's Word is left out, we waste time. We will wait on the Lord. We will rejoice in the Lord. God will show mercy. 33  Rejoice in the  Lord , O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright. 2  Praise th

BRENDAONLINE.COM 31  In thee, O  Lord , do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness. David said Lord I trust you.  Jesus was called the son of David.  David said never let me be ashamed of how I trust you; not yesterday, today, and tomorrow don't let me have to eat my words.  Deliver me according to what you know is right. 2  Bow down thine ear to me; deliver me speedily: be thou my strong rock, for an house of defence to save me. In this song David petitions God to bow down his ear to him; come close to me and he says to God, deliver me in a hurry.  Keep your solid promise to me and defend me when I am in need of defending. 3  For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me. You are my force and my protection; because I know your reputation, lead me.  4  Pull me out of the net that they have laid privily for me: for thou art my strength. There are those dug holes for me.  Don't let me slip into one o

brendaonline.com David praises enthusiastically!! David prayed before and Praised after God deliver him from the enemy he prayed about.   If we pray then find His directions, we will PRAISE! David is the Head of State!  David was a leader! David was a king.  Imagine how many people were lead in God's ways because the leader chose to follow and lead as God wanted him to. 30  I will extol thee, O  Lord ; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me. 2  O  Lord  my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me. 3  O  Lord , thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit. 4  Sing unto the  Lord , O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness. 5  For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. 6  And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved. 7  Lord , by thy favour thou hast made my mountain t
