brendaonline.com Isaiah 15:1-9 (KJV)  1 The burden of Moab. Because in the night Ar of Moab is laid waste,  [and] brought to silence;  because in the night Kir of Moab is laid waste, [and] brought to silence;   The cities of Moab are under attack during the night.   2 He is gone up to Bajith,  and to Dibon,  the high places,  to weep:  Moab shall howl over Nebo,  and over Medeba:  on all their heads [shall be] baldness,  [and] every beard cut off.  Instead of coming to the living God, Moab does what religious people do; they cry and return to their rituals and religious ways and refuse to submit to the Word of God. 3 In their streets they shall gird themselves with sackcloth:  on the tops of their houses,  and in their streets,  every one shall howl,  weeping abundantly.  Look at the religious habit Moab is carrying out in verse three.  Today we practice the same pagan behaviors.  We offer an outward show of rituals instead of simply seeking God for the right choices we should take in

Isaiah 14:1-32 (KJV)  1 For the LORD will have mercy on Jacob,  and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land:  and the strangers shall be joined with them,  and they shall cleave to the house of Jacob.  God will allow Israel to return to Him and those who hurt them will be submitted to Israel. 2 And the people shall take them,  and bring them to their place:  and the house of Israel shall possess them in the land of the LORD for servants and handmaids:  and they shall take them captives, whose captives they were;  and they shall rule over their oppressors.  The tables will turn.  Israel will be in charge of the enemies. 3 And it shall come to pass in the day that the LORD shall give thee rest from thy sorrow,  and from thy fear, and from the hard bondage wherein thou wast made to serve, Israel will have rest from: sorrow fear hard bondage  4 That thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon,  and say,  How hath

Brendaonline.com Isaiah 13:1-22 (KJV)  1 The burden of Babylon, which Isaiah the son of Amoz did see.  This is a heavy message and Isaiah did not hold back. Lord, I pray that we hear every word you said without hesitation. 2 Lift ye up a banner upon the high mountain, exalt the voice unto them, shake the hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles. I am openly telling the Babylons that I will confront you so the world will know you have been judged by God.   3 I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones for mine anger, [even] them that rejoice in my highness. I have a special force who is not afraid to carry out my orders.  I have hired the best of warriors to defeat you.  4 The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: the LORD of hosts mustereth the host of the battle.  When you hear the noise of the army against you, you will remember my words spoken by Isaiah.

Isaiah 12

brendaonline.com Isaiah is talking to the future (prophecy) What he said to one he said to all In Jesus, there is neither Jew nor Greek Isaiah is singing this song in a hard time. Israel is not singing so I cannot imagine what they think of Isaiah right now. Isaiah 12:1-6 (KJV) 1 And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me. In the midst of judgment, Isaiah sings this song.  Not only does he sing, he tells Judah what will happen in the future and how the lyrics will be written for those who will see Jesus as He is in His reign. A father who was angry with his children must discipline them.  Because they would not stop hurting each other, the father knew it was time for some severe punishment. Judah was warned many times to return to God's instructions, but they refused.  This made God angry.  Now, no matter what they did, God's anger came with evidence that He disapproved of their
