24 The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

God is the father and he takes total ownership of his responsibility to man.  He is Lord over all he made.  Unlike man who refuses to allow him to be God, he is the Father and he provides well for all his children.

For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.

Earth was formed from water.  As impossible as it may sound  to the mind, God created earth out of water and then he channeled water through the earth allowing it to flow to nurish it by means of rivers.

Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place?

Who qualifies to stand in the presence of God or who can stand in his stead?

He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

The one that can represent Him is Jesus the Christ, who has clean hands, a pure heart, he does not use His time wastefully, and He does not tell lies.

He shall receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

What is the blessing from th Lord?   When we allow our hands to be as Jesus' hands, we recieve all the promises of God which is the blessing and not the curse from the Lord.  The blessing from the Lord are recorded as given to Moses in Deuteronomy 28, which includes salvation given to us through Jesus Christ as an illustration or example of what it is like to do things the way God wants things done in our lives.

This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.

There is a generation known as the generation of Jesus or the generation of those who seek the Word of God.  Generation can be defined as a set of people with a defined purpose.  When Jesus walked and completed His assignment, He refered  to us a generation. The generation He speaks of started from the moment He came throughout eternity.   Through Him, we have been given all we need to be in oneness with the Father.  His coming defines a totally different era to man because God Himself was seen through the Life and Ministry of Jesus who is the Christ.

Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

Because of who Jesus is and what He has done, we can look up.  No longer do we have to race through life looking for answers.  All answers about everythings has been included in the Word of God who is God.  Jesus gave us the answer to everything concerning life.

Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.

The Word of God is the container of His Glory!  The Word is strong and stronger than strong,  the Word of God is mighty.  The Word of God is massive.  The Word of God is potent.  The Word of God is in a container that seems small, yet; possessing great and impressive power or strength, especially on account of size.

Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

10 Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.

God is the King of things Good.  He is the Lord of Hosts.  There is no other host that can be compared.  All are welcomed and all we be served the best by the Best. The Word  of God is Worth Living.
