PSALM 43

Psalms 43:1-5 (KJV) 1 Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation: O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man.

Lord, when I enter into your Word, let me find myself and show me the adjustments I need to make.

Let the ungodly know you are my helper.

Don’t let the deceitful men take advantage of me.

2 For thou [art] the God of my strength: why dost thou cast me off? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?

My strength comes from you.

Why won’t you take away my problems?

Why do I feel so bad trying to do right?

3 O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles.

Let the light of your Word guide me where you are.

4 Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God my God.

I will enter in the way you instructed all to enter into your house.  I came so that I can praise you!

5 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, [who is] the health of my countenance, and my God.

No matter what is going on, I will yet praise the God who makes me smile.
