Psalm 110

110 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

God is speaking to the Son of God.  Sit on my right side, until I make your enemy a place where you rest your feet.  This indicates that God is still making the enemy's position themselves as a place for the feet of the Son of God.  Jesus will not always be sitting; He will take His stand.

What is a footstool? a  low stool to support the feet. What is the purpose of a footstool?  There will be no more fight left in the enemy.  Pharoah used all he had to keep Israel down.  God knew from the beginning what it would take to get him to let the people go.  As a last result, God defeated Pharoah, who would not change.

When God waits, it is because He does not want to destroy.

Many churches are the enemy of God.  They stand in the way of sinners and make people feel comfortable with the little they know about God.

The church must submit itself, and make Jesus a place for His feet to rest upon.

The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

When Jesus comes he will bring order to the earth.  The will of God will be done in earth as it in heaven.

Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.

The people who are prepared to meet Jesus, and who are waiting for his reign will be so happy to see him and more than ready to be used to carry out His orders.  The youth will be as the dew on the grass before the day begins, ready to carry out His command.

The Lord hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.

God will not change his mind.  Jesus will bring bread and wine as Melchizedek when came to meet Abraham.  Abraham put his life on the line to save Lot.  Abraham heard that Lot was in trouble and left all he had to rescue him.  Melchizedek came to Abraham with bread and wine to offer to Abraham.  Abraham in return gave tithe of all he had.  Jesus came to the children of Abraham; Jesus, being of Abraham family himself,  brought us  as Melchizedek did, bread and wine both of which represented Himself being the Christ.

The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.

God the Father said, He himself will remove kings in the day of His anger.

He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.

Heathen: the people who say they know God, but refuse to believe him. (unbelievers).  These are the first on the list for God to judge.  (judgement will begin at the house of God).  Second on the list is the heads over many countries;  God will wound the leaders who kept His people from knowing who He is.  Those who hurt the people who used laws to support their evil deeds.  All leaders in all walks of life will be judge during this time.

He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.

After completing his work, Jesus will drink from a brook that has been appointed for Him.  All people will rejoice because justice has been served.
