Psalm 115
115 Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake.
None of us was spoken twice, but Lord, You get the glory Lord. No pastor, nor king or anyone else but You get the glory; because you forgive and tell the truth!
2 Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is now their God?
Why should those who do not believe God say, where is God? He is so good it is impossible not to notice Him.
3 But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.
Our God location can be found in heaven: He did whatever he pleased. He was pleased when he made the heavens and the earth and all that dwell in it.
4 Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.
5 They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not:
Charles Spurgeons says a God who cannot see, lead people who are even more blind.
6 They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not:
7 They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat.
We create doll or toys and called them god. Many leaders are gods. When we disconnect ourselves from God we are as leaders and we are as ineffective as a toy. We create gods and we create monsters when we make leader who will not take the time to know the Word of God by supporting them.
8 They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them.
People who create their own god, have no purpose.
9 O Israel, trust thou in the Lord: he is their help and their shield.
People of God, trust Him. God is our help!
10 O house of Aaron, trust in the Lord: he is their help and their shield.
Those who are teachers of the Word trust God. He is the help of all who teaches God's Word.
11 Ye that fear the Lord, trust in the Lord: he is their help and their shield.
All who hear the Word of God, trust Him: He is our help and our protector.
12 The Lord hath been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.
We are on God's mind. He will bless the teachers and those who are taught by the teachers.
13 He will bless them that fear the Lord, both small and great.
He will bless teacher and student.
14 The Lord shall increase you more and more, you and your children.
Life will yield good over and over again for you and your children.
15 Ye are blessed of the Lord which made heaven and earth.
We are branded by God. He will make things good for those who trust Him.
16 The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord's: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.
God takes care of what is too high for us. God has given men the earth. We must make earth like God makes what we cannot change.
17 The dead praise not the Lord, neither any that go down into silence.
Identifying the dead; Anyone who is not alive is dead. So anyone without Jesus is dead and will not praise Him. Neither anyone who literally dead can praise God.
18 But we will bless the Lord from this time forth and for evermore. Praise the Lord.
We who know God, will do what comes natural, we will bless the Lord from now on and forever.
