PSALM 96
96 O sing unto the Lord a new song: sing unto the Lord, all the earth.
2 Sing unto the Lord, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.
He said sing again and brag on Him; conduct your ways to show that you belong to Him everyday.
3 Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.
Bring proof that shows He is your God! Let the unbeliever see the proof and show Him off to everyone.
4 For the Lord is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.
God is huge! God is rich! God is famous! God is good! His product He made is excellent! He is to be reverenced and we should learn that He does not waste time and He will not tolerate wasting time.
5 For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the Lord made the heavens.
God had a purpose for all He made. People stole His goods and created an idol. You steal God's stuff and make a god for yourself. One day the god you made will bow down to the God who made it!
6 Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.
God's work shows he cares. He shows he cares by the way He does what He does. Everything around Him is strong and beautiful. It was made for beauty and made to last. If we could see the earth the way God intended it be seen.
7 Give unto the Lord, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the Lord glory and strength.
Those who are blood related, give. Give to others as you would want others to give to you. When we do that, we give to God.
8 Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.
You know how God likes things done. He like things done right. Anything less than that is being irresponsible. Once you give what he has taught you how to give, come into his courts and just hang out with Him.
9 O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.
Holiness is attractive. Show that you respect God and His property.
10 Say among the heathen that the Lord reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.
Tell the unbelievers God lives. Everything in the world will be established or made to last when God is over it. Any product made that is good for the good of people will never leave the shelves of our market places. God knows what is good and what is rightly made. He will put our product to the test.
11 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof.
Let all that God made be happy to abide in its place!
12 Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice
Let the land rejoice. Even the land that is hardly used, let it be happy because of who God is. If you are overlooked or you can't get to well known spots in earth, be glad you know God lives. You don't have to be in a crowd to get God to notice you.
13 Before the Lord: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.
Let every single person, in the city or rural areas or at a far away distance know that God has not forgotten anybody. He sees and will make things right for His people.
