Psalm 126
126
When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.
When God forgives, God rewards. When we walk away from God and return, God shows us an abundant supply of love, enough for us to cry because of His joy of seeing us come back home.
2 Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them.
Returning back to God will cause others to see. And when those who did not trust God saw what God did for those who trusted God they were amazed.
3 The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.
The people who knew God, bragged about the goodness of God while others looked at them living the good life. He had for them all the time. God shows His goodness to attract others to want to get to know Him.
4 Turn again our captivity, O Lord, as the streams in the south.
Meet our needs Lord. We are ready to change and we need your help. Send us water as the water you provided in the dry land of the south.
5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.
Stand up for what is right and there will be times it will be difficult. Obey God, even in tears. There will be a day that you will reap good and you will be joyful when God made it known that he blessed you.
6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
Anyone who continues in the Word even though it will be hard, hold on to the precious Word of God, we will without doubt return with the tangible evidence that the Lord has blessed us.
