Psalm 149
Brendaonline.com149 Praise ye the Lord. Sing unto the Lord a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.
In God's house, He wants His lyrics known.
What is a new song? A new song is a song of me finding out more about Him. There is always a new song when you live as God said then sing about Him.
2 Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.
Let the people of God that know who He is, be happy! A good attitude in us, expresses that we are praisers.
3 Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.
People who know God will: praise Him in the dance. They will sing! They will praise Him with instruments.
4 For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.
The Lord is pleased with His people. He will make His own people look like they belong to Him.
5 Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.
Our hearts ought to be glad! When believers go to bed, after obeying God all day, we can reflect on the goodness of God and praise Him!
6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand;
High praise in my mouth and the Word of God in my hand
God's Word is music in war!
7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;
Praise in my mouth and the Word in my hand will bring corrections on those who refuse to obey God's Word and it will judgement upon the people;
8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;
The Word will bring corrections upon kings and famous people;
9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord.
All saints have the right to speak God's Word and the power of God's Word will set the whole house in order.
