Isaiah 50
Isaiah 50:1-11 (KJV)
1 Thus saith the LORD, Where [is] the bill of your mother's divorcement, whom I have put away? or which of my creditors [is it] to whom I have sold you? Behold, for your iniquities have ye sold yourselves, and for your transgressions is your mother put away.
Why have you left Me? What do you have in writting that justifies a divorce from Me? The reason we are separated is because you left Me to keep a continious rendezvous with sin. I will never leave you or forsake you under no circumstance.
2 Wherefore, when I came, [was there] no man? when I called, [was there] none to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem? or have I no power to deliver? behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness: their fish stinketh, because [there is] no water, and dieth for thirst.
I showed up and saw no one or had no one to respond to me. I am not lacking anything. I tell the water what to do and it does what I say. Every thing I do I do for you.
3 I clothe the heavens with blackness, and I make sackcloth their covering.
When you walk away from Me, I tell the sky to cut off the light and the heavens sit with mourning clothes on displaying our separation.
4 The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to [him that is] weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.
I have been taught the language of God. When I speak, I only say what He says and it shows I have learned. He has taught me to say the right Words to those who need to hear from Him. I get up every morning and I listen while he trains my ear to hear His voice.
5 The Lord GOD hath opened mine ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back.
The Lord allowed me to see and I did what He said and did not turn away from His instructions.
6 I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.
You did not force me to do anything, I allowed you to hit me, pull hairs from my face and to even spit in my face. Because of the Words of My Father I did not allow shame to stop Me from carrying out My assignment.
7 For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.
God is My helper and I will stand firm on what He instructed Me to do.
8 [He is] near that justifieth me; who will contend with me? let us stand together: who [is] mine adversary? let him come near to me.
God is always near Me and He upholds Me. If He is for Me, who can fight against Him?
9 Behold, the Lord GOD will help me; who [is] he [that] shall condemn me? lo, they all shall wax old as a garment; the moth shall eat them up.
If anyone thinks he can hold me down, let it be known. You will be without life as a moth eaten rag.
10 Who [is] among you that feareth the LORD, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh [in] darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the LORD, and stay upon his God.
If anyone wants Me as their Lord and Savior let it be known. Do not allow anybody to keep you from coming to Me. Leave any place that keeps you in bondage and take My Word and follow My directions.
11 Behold, all ye that kindle a fire, that compass [yourselves] about with sparks: walk in the light of your fire, and in the sparks [that] ye have kindled. This shall ye have of mine hand; ye shall lie down in sorrow.
If you decide to ignore me, continue creating the devices that will destroy your purpose and what will cause you your life.
