Song of Songs 7:1-13 (KJV)

1 How beautiful are thy feet with shoes, O prince's daughter! the joints of thy thighs [are] like jewels, the work of the hands of a cunning workman.

Feet called beautiful with shoes.  Could he be saying she has on sandals?  He sees her body as without covering.  He describes her thighs.  She seems to be physically fit and he loves what he sees about her body.  It is true, a man loves a physically fit body.  This is the will of God for it to be so.

2 Thy navel [is like] a round goblet, [which] wanteth not liquor: thy belly [is like] an heap of wheat set about with lilies.

Her husband notices every part of her body and he desires it sexually.

3 Thy two breasts [are] like two young roes [that are] twins.

She takes care of her body and her breast indicates she is healthy.  When we live as God commanded, it will manifest in how we take care of our temples.

4 Thy neck [is] as a tower of ivory; thine eyes [like] the fishpools in Heshbon, by the gate of Bathrabbim: thy nose [is] as the tower of Lebanon which looketh toward Damascus.

Solomon mentions her neck earlier and even now.  She seems to carry herself without looking down or being ashamed of who she is or how she looks.  Because the word ivory is used here it does not give preference to the color of her skin.  She is black as the tent of Kedar.  Ivory indicates strength and beauty, it is not implying she is of caucasian persuasion.

5 Thine head upon thee [is] like Carmel, and the hair of thine head like purple; the king [is] held in the galleries.

He describes her head to be as attractive as the scenery known in that area.  He speaks about her as to hold her beauty in a place of the finer of his displays.

6 How fair and how pleasant art thou, O love, for delights!

Yet he describes her beauty.  She is an older woman than the first time he saw her, but his compliments are as fresh as the first time he saw her.  Women never get tired of true compliments from their husbands.

7 This thy stature is like to a palm tree, and thy breasts to clusters [of grapes].

She takes good care of herself and he takes notice of it.

8 I said, I will go up to the palm tree, I will take hold of the boughs thereof: now also thy breasts shall be as clusters of the vine, and the smell of thy nose like apples;

He wants her body and he lets her know.

9 And the roof of thy mouth like the best wine for my beloved, that goeth [down] sweetly, causing the lips of those that are asleep to speak.

This man is in love with his wife.  She behaves toward him so beautifully that others who were used to the mundane of life are paying attention to him and his wife's relationship.

10 I [am] my beloved's, and his desire [is] toward me.

She speaks; she is loved. She says her husband loves me and it shows.

11 Come, my beloved, let us go forth into the field; let us lodge in the villages.

They both leave to find a place to be alone to make love.

She made reservations.

12 Let us get up early to the vineyards; let us see if the vine flourish, [whether] the tender grape appear, [and] the pomegranates bud forth: there will I give thee my loves.

They want to get up early and enjoy the day together.

Having breakfast in a private resort is so romantic.

13 The mandrakes give a smell, and at our gates [are] all manner of pleasant [fruits], new and old, [which] I have laid up for thee, O my beloved.

She says let us go shopping and let us do it together.  I want to buy or bought something just for you.  ( My personal view):)
