Psalm 68 (Racism is in the church still)
68 Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him.
God is sending a strong rebuke to the church. If the church relates as the world does, the world will never see God.
Don't forbid God to make an appearance and when He does the enemies of God be spreaded out: also let them that detest His Word take off.
2 As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.
David is speaking this into existence and it will be so. All of what David is speaking, he is speaking as a king in earth. Those who fight against God's Word will be those who are driven away from God and they will be destroyed.
3 But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice.
David speak as a king to those who follow God's directions. Cause it to be to those who live right, let them be overjoyed with gladness!!!!
4 Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name Jah, and rejoice before him.
Sing everybody who knows God! Sing praises that describes the goodness of God. God rides upon the planets using the name Jah! Hallelujah!
5 A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.
He takes care of children who have no fathers, he makes provision in behalf of the widows, He does this from his dwellings. In his house he has enough of everything to secure those without a male in the house.
6 God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.
God gives those who are alone a family. God breaks bondages of those who held captive. But those who refuse to listen to Him, live in a land that will not produce.
7 O God, when thou wentest forth before thy people, when thou didst march through the wilderness; Selah:
When You brought us out of Egypt.....
8 The earth shook, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God: even Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel.
Things that were normally stabilized, moved because of Your presence. Heavy things became light. You are the God of Truth!
9 Thou, O God, didst send a plentiful rain, whereby thou didst confirm thine inheritance, when it was weary.
When your people needed rain, you sent it abundantly to confirm that you were the God that will provide.
10 Thy congregation hath dwelt therein: thou, O God, hast prepared of thy goodness for the poor.
After the rain the people stay there and were no longer in despair. You provided what was good for those who had little.
11 The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.
You gave you promise and a lot of people made it known.
12 Kings of armies did flee apace: and she that tarried at home divided the spoil.
God is speaking to the people who ruled the world. Today God is speaking to racism in our churches. The leaders who tolerated racism were known as "whites" and they are also the majority of the salmon complexion.
13 Though ye have lien among the pots, yet shall ye be as the wings of a dove covered with silver, and her feathers with yellow gold.
The salmon color people used the darker man and the darker men did not own a pot of their own. God's anger kindled against this behavior. He warned those who lived as superior that he was cause their lives to be as smoke or hot wax and removed from the land. Because they made themselves in authority, they did as they desire to the darker brother. God said as a dove who cannot fly with the glitter of gold and silver on its wings, neither will you get by for what you hav done to the minds of my people. You have broken their families and taken their lives and you do this for your own selfish gain.
14 When the Almighty scattered kings in it, it was white as snow in Salmon.
Because you have shamed my name, I will make you as white as snow because you pride yourselves to be more and better than your brother. If any is white, it is because he has leprosy.
15 The hill of God is as the hill of Bashan; an high hill as the hill of Bashan.
You are known as the majority. You are all brothers. Don't allow the enemy to frame your mind into thinking that because you are more and number that I favor you over your lesser amount in number brother.
16 Why leap ye, ye high hills? this is the hill which God desireth to dwell in; yea, the Lord will dwell in it for ever.
You are salmon skin and now you want all your brother has. God wants to save all people and your behavior has called many to refuse my word because you counted yourselves and took my place as ruler. I am God and the majority is not and never will be.
17 The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place.
It takes 20 thousand horses to carry me. Even thousands of angels who surround me. I am in the midst of them as I was in Mount Sinai the day I introduce Myself to you.
8 Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the Lord God might dwell among them.
Jesus put all things in there proper places. Jesus put the holding cells in jail. Jesus gave gave all who were oppressed gifts even the one who wanted revenge on their enemies. God is patient with us when He knows we've been wronged. He carefully guides back to the right path to remind us He is God even though we are hurting. He want all men to know that He is God, even when we want to take matters into our own hands.
19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.
You saved us and you load us with benefits. We have more than enough working for the Word of the Lord.
20 He that is our God is the God of salvation; and unto God the Lord belong the issues from death.
God is our God. The God who saved us. Everything that can hurt us belongs to God. God prevents the issues that can cause us to die.
21 But God shall wound the head of his enemies, and the hairy scalp of such an one as goeth on still in his trespasses.
You have misrepresented me long enough. I will step in a show Myself as God. I will wound your head, the very person who steers my people from My Word. I will destroy your young men who want to carry on this nonsense of thinking you are superior.
22 The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring my people again from the depths of the sea:
I will touch the lives you have made to turn from me and those who still want to know me inspite of the wrong you have caused against My Word.
23 That thy foot may be dipped in the blood of thine enemies, and the tongue of thy dogs in the same.
You will see the fate of your enemies. Your foot and your dog will walk in their blood.
24 They have seen thy goings, O God; even the goings of my God, my King, in the sanctuary.
People saw your way of doing what you do, Lord. Number 12 spoke of racism in the church and God did not allow the church to move then and He will not allow the misrepresentation of His Will for all people to be tampered with today.
25 The singers went before, the players on instruments followed after; among them were the damsels playing with timbrels.
The singers went first, the people who played instruments went after them and there was dancing in the midst. Remember Miram, Moses' sister. God cared nothing for her and struck her with leprosy and stated this will never be allowed in My house. (read Numbers 12)
26 Bless ye God in the congregations, even the Lord, from the fountain of Israel.
From the fountain owned by Israel, God is to be blessed God's original plan for man has not changed. Since he made Israel a fountain for all to drink from, His standards has not changed one bit. God saw racism then and He sees in our churches today. We think we will crawl to God another way. Jesus said I am the door, you must enter only through Me.
27 There is little Benjamin with their ruler, the princes of Judah and their council, the princes of Zebulun, and the princes of Naphtali.
I see little Benjamin with their leader.
I see the princes of Judah and their council.
I see the princes of Naphtali!
I see both small and great in all tribes. There is no difference in any of them. I am God and all are my people. The well known and the known.
28 Thy God hath commanded thy strength: strengthen, O God, that which thou hast wrought for us.
The people who were held captive, needed strength. When we treat people in the wrong way you destroy their purpose and you delay the gifts God place in them. If you do these things, then you will see the wrath of God.
29 Because of thy temple at Jerusalem shall kings bring presents unto thee.
Because of Your Word, kings shall bring presents to You.
30 Rebuke the company of spearmen, the multitude of the bulls, with the calves of the people, till every one submit himself with pieces of silver: scatter thou the people that delight in war.
Rebuke the people who think their riches will protect them. Many of the slave owners bought labor and worked them for nothing. They treated their lives that God made as nothing. They took the strong and the young and sold them for a price. They delighted in war. We pass laws to make our conscience unbothered when we know we sin against God.
31 Princes shall come out of Egypt; Ethiopia shall soon stretch out her hands unto God.
I want all people to praise me. Egypt holds her head down because of what she did to my people. Ethiopia holds her head down because of the slavery brought upon them because they were sometimes sold by their own brothers. I want to hear the praise of Egypt and Ethiopia. I am still saying let my people go!!!!
32 Sing unto God, ye kingdoms of the earth; O sing praises unto the Lord; Selah:
David as king commands the earth to sing and it will!
33 To him that rideth upon the heavens of heavens, which were of old; lo, he doth send out his voice, and that a mighty voice.
God who rode before will speak!
34 Ascribe ye strength unto God: his excellency is over Israel, and his strength is in the clouds.
Give God something right and good that you made. God is over His people and his strength is up high.
God wants the strength of Egypt and Ethiopia to return to Him. God wants to sound and gifts of the darker brother.
35 O God, thou art terrible out of thy holy places: the God of Israel is he that giveth strength and power unto his people. Blessed be God.
In all that You do for us, it is more than we can understand. You give strength and power to all of your people. We have the ability to get things done. Blessed be You God!!!!
