Isaiah 32
Isaiah 32:1-20 (KJV)
1 Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment.
When Jesus comes, He will show you what life should be.
2 And a man shall be as an hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land.
People will treat each other right and people will do things purposefully.
3 And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken.
God will make sure you see and make good choices.
4 The heart also of the rash shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers shall be ready to speak plainly.
Things will finally begin to make sense. People will have a good understanding.
5 The vile person shall be no more called liberal, nor the churl said [to be] bountiful.
The evil businessmen will be known as who they are.
6 For the vile person will speak villany, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against the LORD, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.
Evil work will be obvious.
7 The instruments also of the churl [are] evil: he deviseth wicked devices to destroy the poor with lying words, even when the needy speaketh right.
Wrong will be called wrong.
8 But the liberal deviseth liberal things; and by liberal things shall he stand.
A good man's work will be made known.
His good work will be to his honor and people will trust in the good of the people who did good work as Abel.
9 Rise up, ye women that are at ease; hear my voice, ye careless daughters; give ear unto my speech.
Women listen to my Word. You are at ease. Get to know me and stop waiting for someone else to tell you what I said. Women get to know my speech. Get to know what I said.
10 Many days and years shall ye be troubled, ye careless women: for the vintage shall fail, the gathering shall not come.
You have to learn what to do. You will have a lot of trouble. Things will be different. Your grape fields will not produce and what you planted will not be as ususal.
11 Tremble, ye women that are at ease; be troubled, ye careless ones: strip you, and make you bare, and gird [sackcloth] upon [your] loins.
You have to look in the mirror long enough. It is time to do more than just change your outfits. There is work to be done and I need all on board.
12 They shall lament for the teats, for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine.
They will cry for milk, for food, and for wine. It will not be as usual.
13 Upon the land of my people shall come up thorns [and] briers; yea, upon all the houses of joy [in] the joyous city:
Because you did not know how good it was to be under My care, you will see changes that will let you know things are different.
14 Because the palaces shall be forsaken; the multitude of the city shall be left; the forts and towers shall be for dens for ever, a joy of wild asses, a pasture of flocks;
Look around you, there will be no malls, no big houses and the land will be dry and the land will be for the feeding of animals.
15 Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest.
Until I send the promise things will not look good. The spirit will come from US! It will come from where I am, and then you will see how to live like I always planned for you.
16 Then judgment shall dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness remain in the fruitful field.
You will know right from wrong in places where things were all over the place. Then you will be able to see what is good and what is bad. You will see how fruitful the field is.
17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
You will experience businesses that shows that My Word is God.
18 And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places;
Wherever I am there is freedom.
19 When it shall hail, coming down on the forest; and the city shall be low in a low place.
You will see other places destroyed and if you do,
20 Blessed [are] ye that sow beside all waters, that send forth [thither] the feet of the ox and the ass.
....it will not affect you. You will still be living the good life and trouble will be far from you. Your waters will be still and your cattle will enjoy eating from your fields.
