Ezekiel 19

Today we find that God is instructing us that tears will fall.
God knows everything because He created everything.  He knows how things work.  Many times we wonder if God knew all this then why did He makes us knowing some of us will fail?  Could it be that God knows the things He created for us and how they work?  If you knew the sound of your car is different than normal, would you warn others that your car is not working properly?  God sees us when we cross the line;  He knows everything He told us not to touch when we touch it.  Signals of sin are sent and God responds trying carefully to take it out of our hands.
God made everything for His purpose, He did not make anything trying to tempt us.  We are tempted when we don't believe what He said, therefore, we get hurt or we hurt others.
In this chapter, God already knows that we will cry because we refused to come out of the sins that will ultimately kill us.  God knew the moment we turn from Him we will enter the danger zone.  He tells us through Ezekiel the sound we will make because we refuse to stop doing wrong toward our brother, ourselves, and against His instructions.  When we sin and refuse to change, we will cry.

"Moreover take up a lamentation for the princes of Israel,

Take up the passionate sound of pain, weeping, and sorrow,

"and say: 'What is your mother? A lioness: She lay down among the lions; Among the young lions she nourished her cubs.

She brought up one of her cubs, And he became a young lion; He learned to catch prey, And he devoured men.

The nations also heard of him; He was trapped in their pit, And they brought him with chains to the land of Egypt.

Lioness: Israel
young lion is King Jehoahaz

King Jehoahaz was taken from Judah after being king for 3 months and a few days.  He was a wicked king and did much evil during the time of his reign.

'When she saw that she waited, that her hope was lost, She took another of her cubs and made him a young lion.

He roved among the lions, And became a young lion; He learned to catch prey; He devoured men.

Now she raises another king.  His name is King Jehoiachin.

He knew their desolate places, And laid waste their cities; The land with its fullness was desolated By the noise of his roaring.

Then the nations set against him from the provinces on every side, And spread their net over him; He was trapped in their pit.

They put him in a cage with chains, And brought him to the king of Babylon; They brought him in nets, That his voice should no longer be heard on the mountains of Israel.

Jehoiachin is caught and caged and brought to Babylon.  He was an evil king.

'Your mother was like a vine in your bloodline, Planted by the waters, Fruitful and full of branches Because of many waters.

She had strong branches for scepters of rulers. She towered in stature above the thick branches, And was seen in her height amid the dense foliage.

Israel was nation known to have thriving kings until they refused to obey God.  There was no other nation like Israel as a people on earth.

But she was plucked up in fury, She was cast down to the ground, And the east wind dried her fruit. Her strong branches were broken and withered; The fire consumed them.

And now she is planted in the wilderness, In a dry and thirsty land.

Fire has come out from a rod of her branches And devoured her fruit, So that she has no strong branch--a scepter for ruling.' " This is a lamentation, and has become a lamentation.

As famous as Israel was, she is defamed because she disconnected hershef from the source who is God, and became as wood vine ready to be burned.
